Microlight Flights, provides microlight lessons and microlight experience flights, on Flexwing Aircraft. We are based, at Sheffield Aero Clubs airfield, at Thorpe Salvin in Worksop.

Filming with the BBC

Microlight Flight  

We give a wide variation of Microlight experience flights to suit your requirements as well offering value for money and a friendly service.

 We can offer from a 20 minute Microlight flight to a full days microlight experience on a one to one basis with an instructor, and also includes lunch at the main restaurant on site.

Air Views

We fly a variation of routes with many breathtaking views such as Chatsworth House, Sherwood forest (Major Oak), Ladybower (Dam Buster Run), Castles and the Peak district .If sight seeing isn't your thing you may want to experience the views from a open cockpit of a microlight aircraft  from above the clouds.

Learning to Fly

 Learning to fly could not be easier we are a one stop shop for all the BMAA syllabus and ground school needs, also you  could gain your radio license with us,  and as the Sheffield aero club is a GA Club (Cessna Etc.) you gain the confidence to fly with general aviation aircraft in fully licensed airfields.

Sheffield Aeroclub has a fully licensed restaurant with viewing and picnic areas, the meals are provided by are full time chefs are well known.

Membership

  With your trial flight you also get 3 months membership so you are welcome back to have a meal , sit and watch Aircraft or maybe go up in a Cessna with your family with Sheffield Aeroclub. You could always go up again in a flexwing microlight but this time in the front seat and learn to fly.
